The Only Truth

Yesterday is an unfinished story.

All that it could have been,

is not what must be.

The world is still full of possibilities.

Yesterday’s future doesn’t lure me.

And yes, it is an unfinished story,

But out of all that could have been,

This eventuality is certain.

That’s the only truth I know.
