We cry but then we laugh so hard

At our misadventures.

What were they thinking?

What are we doing?

Questions never end;

No dearth of answers either.

We are looped in each other’s life.

We’re in our own trance,

Baking breads and cooking theories.

We keep picking up the pieces,

We’re holding it together,

And holding it for each other.

Soulmates exist.

We believe that.

We have that,

In each other for one another.

There’s one thing we’ll always believe,

There’s something so much better in our destiny.

We cry but then we laugh so hard.

We will always have each other.

Seeking Happiness

I seek what I know not I want;

I seek an abode in the eye of the storm.

I trust the winds were sent for a reason,

To clear the dust or uproot the unstable base.

I trust that He’s guiding me with His beacon,

Slow or fast, at least I’m moving ahead in my own pace.

I know not what lies ahead;

I fear of losing what’s not mine yet.

I seek what I know not I want.
